Today’s memory verse says God cannot lie, He is an embodiment of truth. The day God lies, He will not only deny Himself but also stop being God. The beauty of this situation is that He is bound to keep to the promises He made to you as long as you remain in obedience. No matter the number of years spent waiting on God, He can never be late, it will surely come to pass.In addition, God cannot violate His word.
Psalm 119:89 says: “For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
Understanding the nature of God will guide you in prayer. For instance, if a Christian boy/girl asks God to help him/her remain invisible while cheating or prevent unwanted pregnancy while engaging in pre-marital sex, he or she is simply asking God to violate His word. If you make such a request from God and you have not been caught, it’s only a matter of time. In fact, He is giving you room to repent so that you can reign with Him in eternity if rapture were to take place now.
Prayer Point
Many prayers are unanswered because they violate God’s word and will.

Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.
