TOPIC: My Hands Shall Not Wither!
BASIC SCRIPTURES: 1 Kings 13:1-10; Luke 6:6-10
1 Kings 13:1-10
1 And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.
2 And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall be burnt upon thee.
3 And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.
4 And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.
5 The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.
6 And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king’s hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.
7 And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward.
8 And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:
9 For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.
10 So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel.
Luke 6:6-10
6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand,Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
9 Then said Jesus unto them,I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man,Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
ODM Devotional 20 August 2021 Message
Verse 10 of today’s 2nd scripture says, “And looking round about upon them all, He said unto the man, ‘Stretch forth thy hand.’ And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.” You can have a physically healthy and good looking hand, but meanwhile, it is dry and withered spiritually. Those who suffer from a withered hand hardly have anything to show for the labour of their hands.
Nothing ever stays or lasts in their hands. When your hand is withered, you will struggle to break even in what you do. But I decree: In this second half of the year, grace is coming for you. Life and vitality is coming back to your hand. Yes! Supernatural strength is locating your hands for productive living this season. Ah!
Whatever you lay your hands to do shall prosper. The words, “WITHERED HANDS”shall be far from your life and ministry! In the medical world, when there is no blood flow in your hand, it can lead to withered hands and stroke. So you need the Blood of Jesus Christ to flow through your hands for LIFE THAT PRODUCES TESTIMONIES. CONNECT THE BLOOD OF JESUS TO YOUR HANDS DAILY BEFORE YOU STEP OUT!When the Blood of Jesus flows through your hand, Satan cannot dry it up!
When the Blood of Jesus flows through your hand, You CANNOT BE STRANDED IN LIFE! When the Blood of Jesus flows through your hand, you will LABOUR and see your HARVEST! Psalm 1:3 says, “And he (YOU) shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
Say aloud: THAT IS ME! 1 Kings 13:4 says, “And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, ‘Lay hold on him.’ And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.”
The anointing of the man of God caused the hand of the king to wither! I decree: Any power that wants to lay hold on your life, ministry, business, marriage, children, health and career shall WITHER NOW! NOW! NOW in Jesus name (Let the LORD hear 21 AMEN NOW and expect a miracle)!

1. Take your best song of worship as led.
2. In your own words, pray about today’s word now as led.
3. Blood of Jesus, flow into my hands and restore my fortunes in Jesus name.
4. My hands, receive deliverance now from slow progress and stagnation. I reject withered hands in Jesus name.
5. BLOOD OF JESUS, whatever I lay my hands upon shall receive WONDERFUL HARVEST in Jesus name.
