The power point of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is unity, the unbreakable bond. Jesus prayed for His disciples in John 17 that they remain as one, even as He and His Father are one because of the power therein. In the book of Genesis also, where when some people had planned to build the tower of Babel, God came and interrupted their plan by giving them different languages, thereby bringing confusion into their midst.

When believers come together in the spirit of unity and love to pray about anything, such prayer receives divine attention and speedy answers. The Holy Spirit will always be present in such atmosphere, they would experience open heavens and revival.

The Bible says in Deuteronomy 32:30b, “How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight…” Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

Also, having a prayer partner helps to keep your fire burning. When one is weak, he will draw strength from the other. It is not healthy for a growing Christian not to have a prayer partner; it encourages spiritual growth and maturity. Even as a mature Christian, you should surround yourself with people who can always agree with you in prayer. Remember Daniel and his friends. It is easier for the devil to deal with an isolated believer than a company of believers.

Dear reader, prayerfully ask God for a prayer partner or prayer partners. It brings joy to God when He sees His children gather in love and unity.  There is no other sound definition of the church other than love and unity. In the early church, believers had everything in common, “And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common”, Acts 4:32.

MORNING
1. Holy Spirit, multiply Your grace in my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. O Lord, place me in the gathering of fire brand believers, in the name of Jesus.
3. Anyone attached to my life, quenching my fire, Holy Ghost, separate us now, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. O Lord, remove me from the gathering of the scornful, in the name of Jesus.
5. O Lord, take me to the Upper Room, in the name of Jesus.
6. O Lord, give me a prayer partner, in the name of Jesus.
7. Father, teach me how to maintain an effective prayer life, in the name of Jesus.
